Merette Khalil is a junior at Saint Louis University, studying public health and international business. She is an Egyptian-American who grew up in Cairo, Egypt, during the particularly transitional time of the Arab Spring. She will reflect on her experiences as a bridge-builder ‘living through the Egyptian revolution’ and share stories from her semester abroad in Tanzania.
